ARLINGTON, VA—Today, Tenley Peterson announced the endorsement of County Board Vice-Chair Takis Karantonis. Tenley Peterson is seeking the Democratic nomination for an open seat on the Arlington County Board in 2024.
Takis Karantonis has worked alongside Peterson since he was elected to the County Board in 2021. Peterson is a six-term Arlington County Commissioner. In addition to her roles on the Fiscal Affairs Advisory Commission and Planning Commission, Peterson also currently serves as the Chair of the Site Plan Review Committee Sub-group within the Planning Commission.
